Supporting KS2 pupils’ mental health

Updated: Dec 13, 2022

Dr Alistair Bailie, Clinical Psychologist and Wellbeing Director at youHQ, recently featured in a new Twinkl article about how KS2 educators can support students' mental health.

Mental health is a growing focus for primary schools. An NHS study in 2020 found that ‘14.4% of children of primary school age had a probable mental disorder’, an increase of 9.4% in 2017.

As more and more KS2 teachers are teaching and supporting children who struggle with their mental health, Twinkl Digest reached out to Dr Alistair Bailie to answer some common questions educators might have.

Supporting mental health in KS2 through warmth and compassion is such a vital topic for teachers across the UK right now. The emphasis on small, daily interactions really highlights how much of a difference a supportive classroom environment can make for pupils. I actually went through the full set of Twinkl recommendations using the gambiva casino mobile dashboard while commuting earlier, and it was quite helpful to have all the key points formatted so clearly on a smaller screen. Have any other teachers here found specific mindfulness exercises that work particularly well with their year groups?

The first few nights after my hair transplant were stressful because I didn’t know how to sleep safely. This page took away most of that anxiety. In the middle of my research, https://hairtransplantcentretoronto.com/how-to-sleep-after-a-hair-transplant-your-night-by-night-recovery-guide/ became the resource that stood out. It explains the correct way to sleep after surgery, recommended pillow setups, when you can change positions, and practical tips to reduce swelling. A lot of people mentioned it made their recovery feel much more manageable and comfortable.

Hello everyone, glad to be here and join the discussion. I’ve been reading several threads and it’s interesting to see how people from different places share their thoughts and viewpoints. Online communities often bring together participants from many regions, which makes conversations more diverse. Seeing different xtraspin perspectives in one place usually creates a broader exchange of ideas. I also noticed that users from the United Kingdom are among those taking part in the discussions here.😀

Got here after it was mentioned in a Ramsgate betting forum during a late Friday browse. What drew me in was a reasonable bit about goldenbet mixed with practical commentary on tooltip id reference stability and popup identifier persistence for UK players. No flashy promises about ID management perfection or reference stability brilliance. The honest tone was a nice change. When I finished, I felt satisfied, like I'd read proper user analysis.

Hi all! I recently came across a discussion on a UK gaming forum where people were sharing how they spend their free evenings when the weather is too gloomy to go out. One comment mentioned trying a few online games just for fun, so I got curious and followed the trail that eventually led me to https://winzter.uk/ while browsing. I didn’t plan to stay long, just wanted to see how it worked. The first rounds were pretty average and I even had a couple of losses, but after some time I managed to hit several better results that covered my earlier spending.
