Beyond Wellbeing: How youHQ is Building a Community of Hope and Belonging

If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ll know that youHQ is not just a piece of wellbeing software. We’ve always believed that ticking boxes and collecting data doesn’t change lives. People do. Communities do. And that’s what we’re building – a movement of students, teachers and schools who believe in belonging, growth and dreaming big.

A Community, Not Just a Platform

When schools sign up to youHQ, they’re not just downloading an app. They’re joining a community that celebrates the small wins, shares the tough moments and lifts each other up. From students tracking their goals to teachers sharing what works in their classrooms, we see every day how connection fuels confidence.

Celebrating Success: The youHQ Awards

Earlier this year, we ran the youHQ Awards for a second year, recognising schools that embraced the platform and made wellbeing and personal development a real part of daily life. The response was incredible. Seeing teachers proudly holding their awards (with smiles big enough to light up the staffroom) was proof that this isn’t just software – it’s sparking real, positive change in schools.

And the best bit? Students knew their voices and actions mattered. Engagement wasn’t about ticking boxes – it was about creating a sense of pride and belonging. That’s the kind of culture we want to see everywhere.

Dream It, Do It, Share It

This autumn, we’re proud to launch our new campaign: Dream It, Do It, Share It.

It’s about more than goal-setting – it’s about hope, aspiration and the courage to take the first step. Every child deserves to believe that they belong in their school, that their dreams matter and that they have the tools to make them real.

Through the campaign, students will be encouraged to:

  • Dream It: set bold, personal and meaningful goals.

  • Do It: take practical steps towards making them happen.

  • Share It: celebrate progress and inspire others by telling their story.

We’ve been blown away already by the way young people talk about their youHQ journey – in their own words, with humour, honesty and heart. Watch the video below to hear students share what youHQ means to them.

Why Belonging Matters

School is about so much more than lessons, exams and timetables. At its best, it’s about giving young people hope and showing them they belong – in their school, in their community, and in the future they’re building for themselves.

When students feel they belong, they’re more resilient. When they have hope, they work harder. When they’re encouraged to dream, they start to believe those dreams might actually come true. And that belief is powerful.

Join the Movement

So yes, youHQ is a wellbeing platform. But it’s also a network, a celebration, a cheer squad, and sometimes even a friendly competition. It’s a movement that reminds us all – staff and students alike – that we’re not alone in the ups and downs of life.

With our Dream It, Do It, Share It campaign, our brand-new student video and the success of the youHQ Awards, we’re doubling down on what matters most: building a culture of belonging, hope and aspiration.

Because when we dream together, we achieve together. And if we can have a laugh along the way? Even better.
