Service Description
This session will give students the tools to help them manage anxiety. The session will open students up to the amazing range of tools used within Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) - a form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Students will learn: - What anxiety is and how it has helped humans survive - How to unhook from unhelpful thought patterns - Three simple breathing techniques to help them self-regulate - How they can use values and goals to help motivate them Target audience: 11 - 18 years olds.
